Load Plant Types

Load Plant Types

Typically, loading in plant types is the first step to get started with plants in a project. Once you decide what plants you need, use Load Types to get those species loaded into the project.
When placing a Planting in a project, the family that is placed should always be a Parent Plant. Each Parent Plant relates to a specific configuration of planting parameters and corresponds to the asset types loaded into each parent. So before you load your species/types into a Family, consider which Parent Plant is the right fit:
What Parent Plant has the right parameters (does it need Staking or Plan Overlays) and does it also have the right assets? Check out the Plant Asset Gallery, if you’re not sure.
